Our investment team members have over 100 years of collective experience in deeply analysing, investing in and monitoring hedge fund managers.

They have conducted due diligence on over 1,000 different hedge funds, CTAs and hedge fund managers and have invested many billions of dollars throughout a diverse range of market cycles.


The Team





Kenji has been a financial services entrepreneur for 25 years and has established a number of successful investment management firms that have raised and managed over $2 billion across almost 50 fund vehicles

In 2003, Kenji co-founded Infiniti Capital in Zurich and developed its operations, finance, compliance, investment research, data management and marketing functions. He also ran the structured products business that was the dominant driver of AUM growth with landmark fund launches across Asia. He was involved in developing the Global Fund Exchange (GFX) that did multi-bank structured product issuances with several leading banks providing risk monitoring, leverage or capital protection. Finally he managed the substantial NZ debt capital markets subsidiary, Infiniti Capital Markets

Initially to manage proprietary capital, Kenji co-founded NZ Capital Strategies in 2009 focusing on private markets but later expanding it to manage pension assets, culminating in the launch of Ranfurly Strategic, a NZ Managed Investment Scheme Manager licensed under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 and regulated by the FMA

Kenji has lived on four continents and has a double major bachelors degree in Japanese language and Marketing from Canterbury University





Bradley Rotter is a visionary investor who has pioneered investment in many alternative investment classes beginning with Hedge Funds in 1982 while he was speculating on the CBOT and Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He had traded Government Bonds for EF Hutton on Wall Street and did the first electronic transaction in the Government Bond market with Cantor Fitzgerald when they were starting out

Bradley was an early advocate of financial futures and ran AG Becker’s institutional financial futures operations in Chicago.  He pioneered the model of taking venture capital stakes in emerging hedge fund manager in 1985 and seeded many well known funds and managers. He remained an active investor in hedge funds until he announced he was liquidating all his holdings at an industry conference in 2007

Bradley has invested in crypto currencies since 2012 and first invested in an ICO in 2013. He has a keen interest in cyber security and has been the Vice Chairman of Rivetz since 2014. Rivetz conducted a successful ICO in 2017 and manages device identity, attributes and endpoint execution protection rooted in the crypto chips available in nearly all consumer computing devices. He is also the Security Advisor to LAToken, a company transforming access to capital, and enables cryptocurrencies to be widely used in the real economy by making real assets tradable in crypto

After attending the US Military Academy at West Point Bradley studied at the NYU Graduate School of Business and finished his MBA at the University of Chicago





Elizabeth has been working in the capital markets since 1990 and investing in alternative strategies since 1998. She has designed and implemented portfolio manager due diligence processes for multi-billion dollar multi-strategy hedge fund investment platforms as well as managed FoF portfolios on behalf of Institutional Investors and family offices

Elizabeth served as the Director of Diligence at Paloma Partners, a $5Bn hedge fund and from 2011-2016 she was a consultant, specializing in the evaluation and vetting of alternative investments on behalf of institutional hedge fund platforms and family offices. From 2010-2011, Elizabeth worked with ArcherOak Capital, an equity long-short multi-manager fund, as a consultant before joining as a Partner. She also worked at Macquarie FoF group as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager from 2008 to 2010 

Elizabeth was Managing Director at SAC Capital Advisors from 2003 to 2008 where her group was responsible for investment and operational oversight of $3Bn in external investments as well as DD on investment personnel and C-Suite hires. She worked at Merrill Lynch Investment as a VP and Senior Analyst of their FoF in 2003 and at The LongChamp Group as VP and senior member of the FoF management team from 1998-2002

Elizabeth graduated from Binghamton University with a BA in Economics and from New York University's Stern School of Business with an MBA in Finance 





Aaron is a 20 year tech industry veteran with leadership experience across a broad spectrum including managing portfolios over $1b in revenue. Most recently Aaron founded Centrality – one of the world’s top blockchain projects. Centrality is a venture studio with 100 employees in three countries around the world.

Aaron is an advisor, co-founder or board member to over 20 of the largest blockchain companies globally, including blockchain entertainment studio, Breaker, token advisory Globalchain and enterprise blockchain solution, PL^G. In 2018 Aaron was awarded EY Entrepreneur of the Year for the technology and emerging industries category. In 2019 he was also named one of the top 50 technology leaders in IDG’s CIO50.

Aaron and his team are involved with regulatory, industry and enterprise blockchain initiatives across the globe. Aaron regularly speaks on the international stage at events as a subject matter expert in the future of decentralised ecosystems.


JAMES Skinner



With an early career as a diplomat for the US Embassy in Japan, James went on to become an IR consultant advising 118 different Japanese multinationals on their overseas capital raising and investor relations activities. He also served as CEO of Franklin Covey Japan, where he provided leadership training for Japanese and foreign multinationals, and government agencies, such as the US Military, the Japan Foreign Ministry, UFJ Bank, NEC, IBM, the Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo Disneyland, and many others

As a co-founder of Infiniti Capital, James was personally responsible for raising over $1 Billion in AUM, including a $700 million raise that accounted for 37% of retail hedge fund sales in Japan for that year. James has held responsibilities in sales, legal and compliance, CEO of Infiniti Management Services, and served for a brief time as Chairman of the Board

James has published 15 best-selling books in Japan, China, and Korea, and is Japan’s foremost public speaker and executive coach, and has made countless appearances in the media, including CNBC, CNN (Richard Quest), NHK, Forbes, the Economist, the South China Morning Post, Business Times Singapore, Millionaire Asia, Nikkei Shimbun an Nikkei Business

James is a native Japanese and English speaker and went to Brigham Young University and Waseda University. He attended the prestigious Management Consultant Training Program of the Japan Productivity Center, becoming the first non-Asian ever certified as a management consultant in Japan





Jason is Senior Managing Director, COO, CFO and Head of Co-Investment for Discovery Americas, a leading Mexican private equity firm. He also is the Founder of Matau Capital, a New York based alternative investment firm focused consulting firm which has undertaken projects in specialty finance, alternative credit and private equity

From 2009 to 2014, Jason was the President of Visium Asset Management, which grew from a $1 billion healthcare focused hedge fund to a $6.5 billion multi-strategy, multi- product platform under his leadership

Prior to Visium, he was CEO of Atlas Capital Management and Atlas Discovery Capital Managing Director of SAC Capital Management and COO of that firm’s Sigma Capital division, President and Founder of Synthesis Funds (now part of the 3G organization) and COO of York Capital Management

Earlier in his career, Jason worked in the private equity industry as a portfolio manager at Mitchell Hutchins and Alliance Capital and as a banker at Bankers Trust and ING Barings. He began his career as a financial journalist and for several years wrote the monthly “Hedge Row” column in the Financial Times

Jason has an AB in Philosophy and Economics from Columbia University, where he graduated cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA in Finance from New York University





Chris is the Managing Director of the group’s onshore Investment Manager, Ranfurly Strategic Limited. Chris is a Chartered Accountant and member of CAANZ. Chris has over 25 years of experience in the financial markets. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked in audit in New Zealand, the US and UK before changing focus and working in the highly regulated alternative investments industry in the UK for 15 years where he was heavily involved in finance, systems and compliance

Chris returned to New Zealand with his family and became one of the first employees of rapidly expanding Infiniti Capital as group CFO and later also assumed the Chief Compliance Officer role as well. Chris served as a director of the main operating subsidiary entity providing finance, operations, quantitative research and data management to all group entities. He has also spent time assisting crown entities with restructuring, capital raising and the realisation of distressed assets

He qualified from University of Canterbury with a commerce degree and became a Chartered Accountant in 1985. He has an extensive background in operations, finance and compliance





Hisamune recently retired from Mitsui & Co., Europe PLC SVP where he was Division Operating Officer Innovation & Corporate Development Div. (Europe, Middle East, & Africa) responsible for  the incubation of new business models and  strategic partnerships in the Innovation Segment, M&A, & Investment into Energy Efficiency business in Europe, Start up/Venture investment into Innovation/ICT, Co-investment with Tier 1 Investors in UK/Europe/Middle East

Hisamune was also General Manager of Mitsui’s Asset management business division from 2010-2013 and was responsible for managing JAI, Real Estate Fund Business, Infrastructure Fund Business, creating strategic alliances between Tier 1 Financial Player and Mitsui, and inviting large scale Pension/SWF to be co-investors into large projects originated by Mitsui itself. In 2009 as Deputy General Manager of Principal Investment Division, he was responsible for monitoring the portfolio companies of Mitsui Principal Investment Division.

In 2001 he founded Japan Alternative Investment Co., Ltd (JAI), a 100% subsidiary of Mitsui. JAI is a FSA registered security brokerage house in Japan. JAI is a placement agent for alternative investment management companies in Japan. JAI has placed over US$ 13 billion mainly into Hedge Funds. During his assignment, he had robust communication with many CIO’s and portfolio managers from Japanese institutions and pension funds. He acted as CEO & President of JAI during Dec/01 to Feb/09 and even after his return to Mitsui HQ, he continued to act as a Non-Executive Director of JAI from 2009 to 2013.

Hisamune was a member of Mitsui’s hedge funds investment team and was responsible for business development, structuring of managed futures funds, its principal guarantee business & performance linked-notes. He has raised over US$1.3 billion during his assignment between 1992 to 1999. He was a Non-Executive Director of Japanese Equity Investment Advisor of CDOs from 2000 to 2005.

matteo perruccio




Matteo has over 30 years experience in the investment management industry and is presently Chairman of Secofind S.p.A a Milan based multi family office as well as Global Head of Key Clients and Strategic Relationships at Jupiter Fund Management Ltd., a FTSE 250 listed asset management company after serving 8 years on the board as a Non-executive Director.

He has previously advised in the medtech, media and film finance sectors. In 2011, Matteo co-founded and was CEO of REBA Capital, an alternative energy and sustainable agriculture Investment Manager.

In 2008 he founded and was CEO to Hermes BPK Partners LLP securing $2 billion of seeding from the British Telecom Pension, the largest seeding in the history of the Fund of Hedge Fund industry. Hermes BPK was an award winning $3 billion boutique bespoke provider of Alternative Solutions to institutional investors and advisor to BT Pension Scheme.

In addition to serving as Chief Executive of Olympia Capital Management, a $5billion Fund of Hedge Funds in Paris, Matteo also spent six years working at Pioneer Global Asset Management where he held a variety of roles including Vice Chairman of Pioneer Alternative Investments Ltd., CEO International for Pioneer Global Asset Management and CEO Pioneer Investment Management SGR also serving as a Board Member of Pioneer Global Asset Management.

Between 1992 and 2000, at American Express Bank, he held various roles including Executive Director, Head of Personal Financial Services EMEA. He holds 2 Bachelor of Arts degrees from University of Notre Dame in the USA and a MA from American University School of International Service in Washington, DC


Kazuteru Yokomori



Yokomori has had a dynamic career in the Japanese securities and fund management industry since 1989, having been involved in sales, fund research, funds management, private equity research and real estate acquisition. He worked for major firms in Tokyo including Yamaichi Securities, Nippon Fire and Marine Insurance and Sieg Investment Advisors (now Leading Securities Ltd.). Yokomori began providing research and advisory for private client investment into hedge funds in 2003

In 2006 Yokomori moved to Singapore and in 2007 established Benefic Asset Management and acted as CIO for its flagship FoF. Due to widespread difficult fund raising conditions, one year later he also began providing fund research, consulting and investigation services to Japanese clients and began to focus on the Asian property sector

Yokomori was quick to recognise the growth potential in the Philippines' free port zones and began to develop hotels, rental buildings and more recently corporate dormitories to be leased out to SME and Blue Chip Asian industrial companies to house their growing workforce. These developments have achieved income and capital growth over the years and his properties are subject to robust demand from both tenants and investors

Yokomori is an author, podcaster, and speaker on financial topics in Japan and wrote a popular book on achieving a successful retirement in a low risk manner. He is a graduate of Takushoku University where he majored in Business Administration

Daniel has been involved with risk evaluation of alternative strategies since 1995. He has experience in evaluating a wide spectrum of alternative strategies including: hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real assets, real estate and forestry

Daniel began working in capital markets for Deutsche Bank AG providing risk guidance for their global futures and options business in London, he then built a global risk system for Goldman Sachs (London), that analyzed returns on risk adjusted capital across all profit centres. Daniel was also a member of the City of London’s committee on OTC derivatives

Daniel designed and implemented the local Prime Broking desk for UBS Australia, he did this by including the ability for cross-product collateralization (the first time this was done by the bank globally). At the same time Daniel was responsible for the largest equity swap desk in Australia – interacting and trading with global hedge funds

Currently Daniel advises family offices and institutions with in excess of AUD 5 billion of assets and over the last 15 years Daniel has researched, reviewed and made investment recommendations on over 500 funds

Daniel has a BSc from the University of Adelaide, a BComm from the University of South Australia, he is a CPA and qualified for the SEC Series 7





Mark has over 19 years’ experience in various back and middle office roles within the funds Industry. Mark was Head of Client Integration at MUFG Investor Services responsible for on-boarding all Hedge, Traditional, Real asset, Family office, Managed Account and Fund of Hedge funds globally. Mark was instrumental in building, designing onboarding processes for large Japanese mandates.

Earlier in his career, Mark worked as a Fund Accounting Group head for both Northern Trust and Citi. Mark was a Project Manager in the JP Morgan Transfer Agency Department specialising in complex onboardings and was a subject matter expert on performance fee methodologies.

Mark also was an account manager in the Citco Middle office servicing large institutional Hedge funds.

Mark has a B.Comm from University College Dublin, where he graduated with honours.
